Students have an opportunity for linguistic and cultural immersion in Querétaro, Mexico, a top study abroad destination since 1986. In summer, an intensive six-week session is available. As neighboring North American countries Mexico and the United States share a long history and an ever-evolving relationship. Mexico, one of the US’s largest trading partners has a rich history spanning ancient Indigenous civilizations through Spanish colonization to currently having the second largest economy in Latin America.

The ITESM (Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) comprises Mexico’s largest and most diversified private university system, with over 96,000 students on 31 different campuses. The ITESM, Querétaro campus hosts the program.

This program is designed for students who have completed two terms or one semester of first year German. Students earn the equivalent of the third term of first year German and all of second year German in one semester of intensive language study in beautiful Heidelberg.
