Opportunity for Oregon faculty to collaborate with colleagues in Baden-Württemberg, Germany!
The State of Oregon and the German state of Baden-Württemberg have maintained a reciprocal exchange agreement since 1968, facilitating the international mobility of more than two thousand students for academic exchange. Visit the Baden-Württemberg Student Exchange page for more information.
The vast majority of participants are undergraduate students, but the agreement also allows for academic exchange for graduate students and faculty collaboration.
In order to maintain and strengthen the relationships over the period of the pandemic between the partner academic institutions, to broaden the program capacity in serving the academic needs of enrolled students, and to engage a larger number of faculty members, funds are temporarily available to facilitate networking and project collaboration between faculty of both states.
Grants will be awarded for Oregon faculty members to visit a partner institution in Baden-Württemberg. Oregon Faculty should identify a particular university connection, project, or opportunity to explore during their visit to Baden-Württemberg. Support will be offered to establish appropriate university connections or identify possible project collaborators.
