Each summer Yonsei University organizes an International Summer School and welcomes over 2,000 students from around the world to their campus. With course offerings ranging from Korean language and culture to liberal arts, business and science, the program offers 100 courses in seven academic areas. Summer students participate in the six-week Yonsei International Summer School (YISS) and enroll in 1-3 courses.
Students enroll in 1-3 courses from a variety of disciplines during the summer program. Classes meet four days per week (Monday through Thursday) during the six week summer session. For more detailed information about YISS course offerings, registration practices and enrollment requirements, refer to Your Host Institution Tools in the Yonsei Summer Global Course Compass. Non-OSU students can request information regarding the course equivalency process, transcript articulation and credit and grade conversions from their home campus. YISS offers an opportunity for students to apply separately for an internship. If you are interested in this option, please talk with the IE3 Global program coordinator for more information.
