Support the efforts of Singapore’s first wildlife rescue center run by a non-profit and learn about local species and the illegal wildlife trade. Interns at ACRES will support daily animal care, including food preparation and distribution, cleaning and maintenance of enclosures, enrichment activities, and educational outreach. Interns with prior experience may also be able to support rescue operations and volunteer vet care.
The South African Shark Conservancy, is an NGO committed to the conservation and sustainable use of living marine resources. They conduct ecosystem-based research to understand sharks and their habitats for conservation and management purposes. Interns will be part of making lasting contributions to shark conservation.
This wildlife rescue site focuses on the care, rehabilitation and study of Costa Rican wildlife, including sloths, toucans, macaws, owls, monkeys, and other creatures that become injured, ill, or orphaned in the wild. The site gives them a loving home with the goal of providing appropriate medical treatment, rehabilitation and then – when possible – returning them to their natural environments. Interns at this site will assist with daily animal care and clinical activities.
