Our partner university is located in Lyon and hosts exchange students from the Pacific Northwest and around the world. Two offices at the university will share an intern. The international student services office (Services des relations Internationales) is responsible for assisting incoming students with orientation, registration, and welcoming events. The French Language and Culture Institute (Institut de Langue et de Culture Françaises) administers courses and language proficiency exams for international students who are studying French.
Our partner, a private Catholic university in Lyon, has around 10,000 students including 2,100 international students. Interns will split their time between the international student services office (Services des relations Internationales) and the French Language and Culture Institute (Institut de Langue et de Culture Françaises) providing student support services and administrative support to the team.
Daily work in both roles requires an intermediate to advanced level of French proficiency.
