Sports Business & Marketing in Germany | Munich, Germany

Located in central Munich, Germany, our partner organization develops innovative crowdfunding campaigns to support local athletes and teams to compete at the highest level. Interns will have the opportunity to join this small but growing business and support its online marketing and global growth strategy development.

Duration of Internship:

  • Minimum 3 months

The organization is on a mission to bring football fans around the world closer to the dugout and the boardroom. They are committed to building a global football crowdfunding network to connect fans with clubs and players, giving football enthusiasts the chance to invest in promising young talents and support their clubs.

Interns will support the organization’s marketing strategy and implementation. They will contribute to the development and implementation of the marketing strategy to drive web traffic, community management, and customer satisfaction. They will assist the management team in qualitative and quantitative analysis. In addition, inters will practice Community and Customer Relationship Management, as well as human resources and recruiting processes.

Academic Background:

  • All majors may apply. Interns with a background and experience in sports marketing and management (or related fields) are preferred.

Skills / Experience:

  • Quantitative skills regarding data and numerical research.
  • Proofreading and literacy skills in English and an additional European language.
  • SEO and PR experience are preferred.
  • Interns are expected to demonstrate responsibility, professional motivation, flexibility, and effective communication skills.

Language Requirements:

  • For this internship, English is an acceptable language of communication. However, interns preferably will be capable of communication at an intermediate level in another European language.

Visa Requirements:

  • Interns must be eligible for a Residence / Long Stay Visa for Germany.

Independent Housing

Interns arrange their own housing. Local coordinators can offer some support in locating housing.
