Based out of Spain, our partner company works with IE3 Global to match interns with an organization where they can gain professional experience and make a valuable contribution to their organization. Interns gain research experience, polish their skill set, in an international, intercultural setting. Each placement is unique and dependent on both the skill set, experience, and goals of the candidate, as well as the needs and availability of potential host sites.
Interns will be matched with a biological or environmental research project, based on their experience, skill set, and interests.
IE3 Global partners with well-established companies in Spain that match interns with opportunities to build their professional skill set and experience, while contributing to the needs of their host site abroad. Each placement is unique, and interns receive support from both IE3 Global and our partners in Spain.
Activities are highly dependent on the needs of the research project and the skills of the intern candidate. Interns identify their areas of interest within biological or environmental research, and the host organization will then match the intern with specific projects. Specific tasks and responsibilities are designated by the site supervisor.
One example of a placement could be working with an individual scientist and assisting with data analysis related to their biodiversity research.
