Yonsei University is a large and diverse research university, and there are many different ways that students can begin to explore and experience Seoul from Yonsei’s central location. Students can enroll in Korean language classes as well as topical coursework taught in English spanning the humanities, social sciences, and physical sciences. Advanced Korean language speakers can also enroll in courses taught in Korean during the Fall and Winter/Spring semesters.
Summer students participate in the six-week Yonsei International Summer School (YISS) and enroll in 6-9 credits from a variety of departments including arts, culture, humanities, Korean studies, management, economics, social sciences, Korean language, physical sciences, and more.
Yonsei has a full range of academic and co-curricular services and amenities including several libraries, an indoor swimming pool, fitness rooms (including rooms for yoga, dance, etc.), tennis and squash courts, and student lounges. There are over 100 clubs at Yonsei covering a broad spectrum of interests and activities.
