Mexico offers a rich and diverse history easily accessed through the archaeological sites of ancient cultures, modern cities, small traditional villages, jungles, mountains, coastal treasures, sunshine and a colorful mix of contemporary cultures and customs. Studying in Mexico presents you with the opportunity to not only significantly improve your Spanish language skills but also deepen your understanding of the complexity and diversity of Mexico’s cultures and regions. The U.S. and Mexico share one of the longest borders in the world. It is also the most frequently crossed border in the world.

Querétaro

Students have multiple opportunities to study in Querétaro, Mexico, a top study abroad destination since 1986. Students may choose a 14-week semester Mexican Studies Program in fall, or a Summer Session, with 5, 6 or 11-week program options. As neighboring North American countries Mexico and the United States share a long history and an ever evolving relationship. Mexico, one of the US’s largest trading partners, is a fascinating and culturally rich country undergoing significant changes in the 21st century

The Universidad de las Américas-Puebla (UDLAP) is one of most highly regarded private universities in Mexico. It is accredited in the United States by SACS, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

ITESM

The ITESM (Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) comprises Mexico’s largest and most diversified private university system, with over 96,000 students on 33 different campuses. The ITESM, Querétaro campus hosts the program.
